Maintenance Technician Days

Our client is a successful food producer, producing a range of locally grown foods from their production site on the outskirts of Belfast.

We are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering team to support overall productivity and efficiency of the plant, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment.

Electrical bias is preferred but we are also open to mechatronic and multi-skilled engineers

Days Monday to Friday days 7am - 4pm with Saturdays on a rota, typically 1 in 3

Salary is negotiable on experience £43-46k range

The Role

• Maintenance and repairs on production machinery, preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdowns
• Use CMMS effectively for planned maintenance schedules
• Work with production to prioritise key tasks on equipment
• Install, modify and commission new equipment to a high standard
• Support with continuous improvements
• Diagnose faults and investigate root cause
• Work with production staff and other departments to support overall performance

What we are looking for

• Level 3 qualified Engineering or Electrical discipline
• Maintenance experience in industrial setting, preferably FMCG or Food
• Ability to fault find, trouble shoot and repair
• Experienced working with automated machinery
• Experience with a CMMS system
