Warehouse Operative/ Labourer with Driving Licence

Manpower are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative for a long-standing client based in Scunthorpe.

The role is a varied role where you must hold a valid UK Licence with no more than 3 points and will involve a mix of driving and deliveries, warehouse operations and relevant recording/ paperwork.

You will be assisting/ helping with managing a team of drivers so you must be confident in leading an established team already.

• Location: Scunthorpe
  Shift: 08:30- 17:30, Mon-Fri (occasional Saturdays where required)
• Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour

Requirements

• Physically fit- you will be loading/ unloading goods on-and-off the vans.
• Experience in Warehousing Operations, Production or similar industry
• Happy to work across different roles throughout the site. The role involves labouring, hands-on work mixed with some office/ paperwork as well as deliveries
• Happy to drive a 3.5 tonne van
• Customer focused
• Full UK Licence with a maximum of 3 points
• Computer literate

Main Duties

• General warehouse duties
• Ordering, loading and delivering goods to customers
• Route and distribution planning
• Keeping on top of recording products, making sure all paperwork is up-to-date and records are clear and precise.

The role will come with an immediate start for the right candidate and following an initial probationary-period of 12 weeks, will move into a permanent position and increased salary.
